Accessibility Statement

Last updated: September 21, 2025

We’re exploring ways Vinels can support disabled users, including tap-to-speech labels (multi-language, large-type pages), wayfinding/orientation tags for rooms and exhibits, and routine/caregiver prompts that can be updated remotely. Optional high-contrast/tactile stickers and screen-reader-friendly pages aim to reduce cognitive and physical load while respecting privacy (minimal data by default). Interested in piloting these uses? Email accessibility@vinels.com

Vinels is committed to making our website and products usable by everyone. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and are actively working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA where feasible.

What we’re doing

  • Standards & Testing: We design and review pages against WCAG success criteria, including keyboard navigation, color contrast, headings/landmarks, link text, and form labels.

  • Ongoing Reviews: Accessibility is part of our release checklist. We re-test templates and key flows (browse → cart → checkout) on a regular cadence.

  • Inclusive Content: Images use meaningful alt text where appropriate; decorative images are marked decorative. Videos include captions or written alternatives.

Compatible technologies

Vinels.com is intended to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and common assistive technologies (screen readers such as NVDA/JAWS/VoiceOver, system zoom, and reduced-motion preferences). Certain third-party widgets or embedded content may have limitations—we monitor these and raise issues with providers.

Known limitations

If you find a part of the site that is difficult to use with assistive technology, please let us know so we can prioritize a fix. Examples we’re continually watching: focus order in third-party modals, dynamic form validation messages, and embedded media controls.

Feedback & requests for accommodation

We welcome your feedback. If you need an accessible alternative to any page or document, or if you encounter a barrier:

  • Email: accessibility@vinels.com (or support@vinels.com)

  • Response time: We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and provide a resolution or timeline within 10 business days.

When contacting us, please include the page URL and a brief description of the issue or the format you need.

Formal complaints or escalation

If you believe we have not adequately addressed your concern, email us at accessibility@vinels.com “Accessibility Escalation” in the subject line. We will review the matter with priority and respond with next steps.

Commitment to continuous improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. As standards and assistive technologies evolve, we will update our site and this statement to reflect improvements and new practices.
